Hey everyone! I’m still here. My experience of our first leg of the trip was definitely memorable. It all started at the airport in KC when I said, “I wonder why the news is here so early.” Only to find the blue screens of death for Microsoft 365, we were lucky and Southwest was not affected.

Our flight remained on time to Denver. Once we arrived and decided to take the train to Union Station, I knew something was wrong. My stomach was not cooperating with my first travel day. So needless to say that’s a main reason for no post from me yesterday.
The ride out to El Prado, NM was great. Weather at times could have been better experienced my first rain ride. It was cold and those drops hurt when they hit your goosebumps. I did manage to get a selfie, ha!

We made a stop at Red Rocks which was amazing, would love to see a show there someday. Just the drive in was beautiful.

New Mexico has been great. I had to snap a picture of the welcome sign. Day 1 was full of trials, errors, arguments (which I win), beauty and appreciation for this country we live in. I’m feeling much better now and I’ll just be a day behind Charlie on my posting. Enjoy some pictures from yesterday.
