What do you do when you’re on the brink of 40, an empty nester and live with an adventure seeker? Of course you jump on a plane fly to Colorado and ride on the back of a motorcycle to California. Come with me as I navigate my fear of the open road, the brutal summer desert heat, and explore the beautiful country I am about to see from a new perspective.
The anticipation is starting to get to me. Ladies I know you will understand my struggle of only being allowed one pair of shoes, 3 pairs of pants, and if I’m lucky 6 shirts for a 16 day adventure. Lucky for me we are meeting our daughters and their significant others in California. I can have them check a bag for me with more items and take it back to Missouri when they leave. However, while on the Harley less is more as I’ve been told many times.
